💎Catharsis💎

🌟When you look into my passport you won't find the name Kate. It is a really polish thing. Given an official name and the one people call you are often two separate stories.

🌸My name is Katarzyna. The meaning of it comes from greek- catharsis. I love the meaning more than the name itself I suppose. Lets concentrate on the meaning then.

When you google it first thing showing up is:

The process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions.

Further on:
Catharsis, the purification or purgation of the emotions (especially pity and fear) primarily through art. In criticism, catharsis is a metaphor used by Aristotle in the Poetics to describe the effects of true tragedy on the spectator.

"Catharsis and cathartic both trace to the Greek word kathairein, meaning “to cleanse, purge.” Catharsis entered English as a medical term having to do with purging the body—and especially the bowels—of unwanted material. The adjective cathartic entered English with a meaning descriptive of such a physically cleansing purge. It didn’t take long for people to start using these words figuratively in reference to emotional release and spiritual cleansing."
