I look deep into her eyes.

I know and she knows.

So many times it was not given to us.

So many times we had to leave without saying goodbye.

So much suffer left behind to which we are both grateful now.

Opportunity not many had a courage to take.

Now, we are here. 

Centuries later.

Met again to raise into light together.

To raise together in sisterhood's power.

The gift we were given for our patience.

Never to be alone again. 

So I am forever grateful. 

The words are always too small to express.

Always limiting the truth behind.

But I know.

And she knows.
